Visitor Policy

Dear Visitor,
We warmly welcome you to PetCom Tierernährung GmbH & Co. KG in Minden. To ensure your safety and the integrity of our operations, we would like to inform you about our safety regulations, which are important for your visit. To protect our premises and the quality of our products, we have implemented various measures – including video surveillance of access routes.

Please observe the following guidelines:

All visitors must sign in and out at the gatehouse.
Your visitor badge must be worn visibly at all times and protected from loss.
Please observe additional measures, e.g., those relating to the Infection Protection Act.
Mr. Stephan Fischer is your main contact at this location. Mr. Andreas Herrmann is responsible for operational safety.
Please follow all instructions – your safety and wellbeing are our priority.
Access to production areas and buildings is only permitted when accompanied by a PetCom employee (especially for first-time visitors).

We place the highest demands on food safety, product quality, legality, and authenticity — at all times. During your visit, we kindly ask you to observe the following points:

Wear protective clothing: coat, head covering, and clean footwear
No visible jewelry (e.g. watches, earrings, rings)
Artificial fingernails must be covered
Wash your hands before entering production areas
No food, drink, or chewing gum in production areas
Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas
No glass allowed in the entire production area (except for prescription eyewear)
Park only in designated areas

Please be cautious!
Watch out for forklift traffic – stay alert
Machines operate in automatic mode and may start without warning

Additional Rules for External Contractors:

A risk assessment must be conducted before starting work
Pay attention to warning signs and safety pictograms
External cleaning and lubricating agents must be registered and approved before use
PetCom actively maintains an energy and environmental management system
Use electricity, heating, and water responsibly
Help us sort waste properly – if unsure, ask our staff
